The results you can get from EMSculpt are undeniable. It’s the only body contouring device that can build muscle and burn unwanted fat simultaneously. FDA-cleared and proven in clinical studies to add as much as 20 percent muscle and reduce up to 15 percent fat in treated areas, EMSculpt has become the preferred option for many people looking for a leaner, firmer body without going under the knife or spending countless hours at the gym.
EMScuplt uses electromagnetic (EM) pulses to stimulate muscle contractions and jumpstart fat burn, and it’s so effective that you can expect lasting results relatively quickly.
How quickly do you begin to see EMSculpt results?
We meet with each patient to discuss treatment goals and design customized plans. A typical recommendation is for around four treatments, spaced two to three days apart over the course of two weeks. Each session lasts about half an hour. Some people have more treatments, for up to four weeks.
EMSculpt can provide excellent results on many different parts of the body. It’s currently approved to help tone the abdominal area, buttocks, calves, thighs, and arms. Some people have treatments targeting one body part, while others have contouring goals for multiple areas. If you’re planning to use EMSculpt on more than one area, you’ll need separate 30-minute sessions for each part of the body to be addressed.
You’ll feel the effects of the treatment the day after each session. The part of the body that was targeted will feel like it got an intense workout, but the results won’t be immediately noticeable.
After your last session, you can expect to begin to see results in about two to four weeks, with benefits usually peaking at about six weeks after the last treatment. The results often look like you’ve been hitting the gym hard—the kind of results you’d previously have to log months of intense workouts with a personal trainer to achieve.
People who are closer to their ideal body weight and those who already have a good level of muscle tone under the subcutaneous fat in the targeted region will see the fastest and most dramatic results. They will likely need fewer treatment sessions.
How to optimize your EMSculpt results
EMScuplt can be a great way to jumpstart weight loss or rebuild after athletic injury because the treatments help melt fat away and give you desired muscle definition. It can deliver gorgeous, long-lasting results, but like any method used to contour the body, it’s not magic!
EMSculpt does permanently destroy targeted fat cells, and can be especially helpful to shed stubborn areas of fat that have become resistant to exercise and dieting. But even invasive plastic surgeries like tummy tucks and liposuction can’t promise permanent weight loss results, because the remaining fat cells can grow and expand with weight gain. The muscle built with EMSculpt treatments can last six months or more, but like all muscle mass, the benefits will fade over time.
The best way to optimize EMSculpt’s amazing results for the long term is to take steps to maintain them. Eating a healthy, balanced diet and committing to regular physical activity are a great way to retain muscle and keep your body in a fat-burning, high metabolic state.
You can also discuss with us if maintenance EMSculpt would help your goals. Some people choose to have follow-up sessions every four to six months in order to retain all the benefits of a lean and toned appearance.
